What runners keep saying · from 3 reviews

comfortable fit2firm2

First 3.5-mile run in the VIA Olympus 2: still firm but much softer than v1, enjoyable under the heel, and feels lighter than its weight; they enjoyed it far more than the original.

“the cushion is still a firm feel, but compared to the last version they are loads softer. very enjoyable feeling under the heel.”

The VIA Olympus 2 felt great in the shop, but after two runs of a few miles the arch shape felt wrong: high on the outside, low in the middle.

“The outside of arch feels too high, whereas the arch support in the middle and inside feels low in comparison.”

Flat-footed runner hoped the VIA Olympus 2 would be Altra's Bondi, but the added arch support really bothers them.

“I was hoping this would be a Bondi equivalent from Altra but the additional arch support is really bothering me.”

Had the same arch discomfort in the VIA Olympus 2 for about the first 30km, but now they feel great, similar to a Clifton 8.

“I experienced the same thing for around the first 30km then either the insole softened or my foot got used to it but now they feel great.”

Coming from low-stack Escalante Racers, found the VIA Olympus 2 awkwardly thick and stiff.

“I recently got the olympus via 2s, for example, and had forgotten how awkward a thick/stiff shoe feels to the natural foot flexion.”
